2 Ingredient Valentine’s Day Treat: Chocolate Fruit Hearts

Fruit and Chocolate Hearts

Looking for a simple Valentine’s Day treat that doesn’t require a lot of ingredients? These 2 Ingredient Chocolate Fruit Hearts are perfect!

Step 1: Add red fruit to the bottom of a silicone mold

You can use any red fruit (I used goji berries, pomegranate seeds, and chopped strawberries but the pomegranate seeds were our favorite).

Step 2: Cover with melted chocolate and freeze

I used dark chocolate, but you can use whatever you like best. Even though dark chocolate isn’t very sweet, the fruit naturally sweetens the treat!

Fruit Chocolate Hearts Ingredients & Accessories

Dark chocolate:  Some of my favorite brands are Hu Kitchen, Lily’s, Pascha, and Enjoy Life, but you can use whatever you prefer.

Red fruit: Goji berries, chopped strawberries, pomegranate seeds, etc

Heart silicone mold: You can find this mold on Amazon.

Storage Tips

I recommend storing these Chocolate Fruit Hearts in an air tight container in the fridge. This Valentine’s Day treat doesn’t have to be refrigerated though, so it can sit out on a table during a party (as long as it’s not outside on a hot day).

Chocolate Fruit Heart FAQs

My heart broke taking it out of the mold, any tips?

Make sure the fruit is completely covered with chocolate. If you add a little more chocolate, that will help.

Is this dessert paleo or vegan?

Depending on the chocolate you use, it can be paleo and/or vegan.
