They ask for this smoothie all the time! We have an abundance of mint in the garden, so we use fresh mint, but mint extract works just as well!

This Frankenstein Mint Smoothie is full of healthy ingredients and fun for Halloween 👻. My kids LOVE it and I love that they’re getting in their greens!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 1 serving vanilla protein
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract or mint leaves, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups nut milk

Optional:

  • melted dark chocolate

Instructions

  • If decorating the glass, melt chocolate, add to a plastic bag, cut off a bit of the corner and press along the rim of the glass. Add more pressure every now and then so that there are drips. Transfer to the fridge to harden. Once hard, use a dry erase marker to draw a Frankenstein face.
  • Blend together all of the ingredients, pour into the glass, and enjoy!
