Cookie Monster Yogurt Bark Ingredients
Yogurt – A great source of protein, calcium, and probiotics to support digestion and bone health. Opt for Greek yogurt for a higher protein boost.
Blue Spirulina – A natural algae-based food coloring rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. It gives that signature Cookie Monster hue without artificial dyes. I used Ellie’s Best Blue Spirulina and my discount code is HAPPYHOLME.
Dark Chocolate – Provides flavonoids, which support heart health, and adds delicious richness in small, wholesome doses.
Gluten-Free Cookies – Adds texture and flavor while keeping the recipe gluten-free. Use your favorite homemade or store-bought cookie brand. I used my Gluten Free Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Mini Chocolate Chips – Used for eyes, and just a few go a long way in keeping the sugar low while making things fun.

Tips for the best Cookie Monster Yogurt Bark
Yogurt Type Matters: Use full-fat or Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture and best freeze-thaw results.
Fast Freezing: Make the yogurt eyes ahead of time for quicker assembly. Candy eyes work too for an even faster option.
Spirulina Caution: Start with ½ tsp of blue spirulina and build up to your preferred color—it’s potent and can stain!
Easy Cutting: Use a warm knife to cut clean pieces once the bark is fully frozen.
Serve Fast: Yogurt bark melts quickly, so serve straight from the freezer and enjoy immediately.

FAQs
Can I use non-dairy yogurt?
Yes! Coconut or almond milk yogurt works great for a dairy-free version. Just make sure it’s thick and unsweetened to avoid added sugar.

You can find it at most health food stores or online. I used Ellie’s Best Blue Spirulina and my discount code is HAPPYHOLME.
How long does yogurt bark last in the freezer?
It’s best enjoyed within 2–3 weeks. Store in a freezer-safe container with parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking.
