Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes, you can definitely make the cheesecake several days ahead of time and place in an airtight container. I would recommend washing, cutting, and filling the strawberries that day to keep the strawberries fresh. 

Do I have to use a piping bag?  

Nope! You can simply fill the strawberries with a spoon. If you still want the swirl but don’t have a piping bag, you can put the cheesecake in a ziploc bag, cut off a tiny part of the corner and squeeze the filling through the bag. 

Patriotic Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 12 strawberries washed and dried
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 12 blueberries washed and dried

Instructions

  • Blend together the cream cheese, honey, and vanilla. If desired, add to a piping bag.
  • Cut a tiny bit off of the end of the strawberry so it can stand up. Cut off the stem and the center of the strawberry.
  • Pipe the cheesecake into the center of the strawberry. Add a blueberry to the top of the cheesecake swirl.
  • Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Enjoy!
