These healthy homemade Gogurts are so easy to make! You only need 2 ingredients for this nourishing snack! They’re full of protein and only sweetened with fruit. My kids love them frozen too!
Greek Yogurt – I use organic plain nonfat Greek yogurt to make this a protein-rich snack that will keep my kids full.
Fruit – You can use whatever fruit your kids enjoy! Both fresh and frozen fruit work well.
Tubes – Here I am showing the Gogurt in disposable tubes but I also make them in reusable silicone tubes. The reusable ones have a wider opening, so they can get a bit messier if they’re not frozen.
Depending on the fruit you use, they may taste less sweet. If your kids are used to sweeter yogurt, feel free to add a bit of honey. I like to add a little banana into ones that have a tart fruit.
I don’t have these tubes. Is there anything else I could use?
You can make these into popsicles! Add them to any popsicle mold, freeze, and enjoy! If you don’t have a popsicle mold, you can pour them into small paper cups, insert a popsicle stick (or even a spoon), freeze, and enjoy!
Are these good for school lunches?
Yes! If you put a frozen one in their lunchbox, it should be thawed by lunchtime!
I absolutely love recreating my childhood favorites with more nourishing ingredients. It’s so fun to make these recipes for my kids, and I feel like I’m a kid again!
