2 Mins read

Craving the nostalgic flavor of a chocolate éclair ice cream bar—but want something made with clean, better-for-you ingredients? These healthy Chocolate Éclair Bars are the perfect guilt-free treat! With a rich, creamy chocolate center made from cottage cheese or Greek yogurt and a crunchy cookie crumb coating, they’re everything you love about the classic treat, plus refined sugar-free, protein-packed, and totally delicious!

Healthy Chocolate Éclair Bars Ingredients

Cottage cheese (or plain Greek yogurt) – Rich in protein and calcium, this creamy base supports muscle health and keeps you full. It also contains probiotics for gut health if using cultured versions.

Maple syrup or honey – Natural sweeteners that provide subtle sweetness without refined sugar. They contain trace minerals like zinc and manganese.

Unsweetened cocoa powder – A great source of antioxidants and iron. Cocoa supports heart health and adds deep chocolate flavor without added sugar.

Vanilla extract – Enhances the dessert-like flavor naturally, without the need for artificial flavoring or sweeteners.

Sea salt – A pinch brings out the sweetness and chocolate flavor while supplying essential electrolytes.

Vanilla and chocolate cookies, crushed – Add the nostalgic crunch and texture of a classic éclair bar. Opt for gluten-free or lower-sugar versions to keep it healthier.

Tips for the best healthy Chocolate Éclair Bars

  • Use a chilled tray when rolling in cookie crumbs to help everything set quickly.
  • If your cookie crumbs aren’t sticking, press them on gently with clean hands.

  • Store extras in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
