Stop what you’re doing and SAVE this recipe for Paleo Big Macs! I promise, you’re going to be happy you did! These copycat McDonalds burgers are great in bowls or on buns for your next bbq! Before the kids were born, my husband created amazing burger recipes and for a little while there was even talk of him opening up a food truck! The McDonald’s Burger was always a fan favorite, so it was the first one I attempted to make with better ingredients. We make them all summer long! I took it up a notch and created a paleo Big Mac sauce to top the burgers and bowls.

Ingredients
For the burgers:
- 1 lb organic ground turkey (you could sub beef)
- 1/2 cup diced dill pickles (I know it sounds weird, but trust me it’s delicious)
- 1/3 cup dill pickle juice (the liquid in the jar of pickles)
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- 2 tbsp dried onion flakes
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp each onion powder, sea salt, dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp each celery salt, black pepper, garlic powder
For the sauce:
- 1/4 cup avocado mayo
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp finely chopped pickles
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Mix together all of the burger ingredients. Form 5 patties on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Cover with another piece of wax paper and freeze.
- Grill approximately 12 minutes, flipping halfway, until cooked through.
- Mix together the sauce ingredients. In a bowl or on a bun, add the burger, desired toppings, and sauce. Enjoy!
