For the Rice Krispie Treats
- 4 tablespoons grass-fed butter melted
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup peanut butter or cashew butter for a milder flavor, room temperature so it's runny
- 2 tablespoons collagen
- 2 tablespoons plain full-fat kefir
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal gluten-free if needed
For the Decorations
- ¼ cup dark chocolate melted
- ½ cup white chocolate melted
- Natural green food coloring
- Soccer ball print-out template
Step 2: Make the Crispy Rice Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, honey, and peanut butter. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Add the kefir, collagen, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix well.
Fold in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and gently press it into an even layer using a spatula.
Place the pan in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, or until firm.
Step 3: Make the Chocolate Soccer Balls
Place a soccer ball print-out on a half-sheet baking pan or tray. Cover it with a sheet of parchment paper.
Transfer the melted dark chocolate to a piping bag or zip-top bag with a small corner snipped off.
Pipe the dark chocolate onto the black sections of each soccer ball design.
Freeze for 5 minutes, or until set.
Once hardened, fill in the remaining white sections with melted white chocolate.
Return to the freezer for another 5 minutes until completely firm.
Step 5: Create the Soccer Field
Mix natural green coloring into the remaining melted white chocolate until you reach your desired shade of green.
Spread the green chocolate across the bottom third of each crispy rice treat.
Use a fork to drag the chocolate upward, creating a grass-like texture.
Place one chocolate soccer ball on top of the grass before the chocolate sets.
Allow the decorations to harden before serving.
