Ghost Hot Dogs
These easy Ghost Hot Dogs are the cutest Halloween food! Made with hot dogs and biscuit dough, they're simple, spooky, and ready in minutes.
Servings: 8 mini hot dogs
Ingredients
- 4 hot dogs
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
- Optional: ketchup or mustard for dipping
- Straw s for making faces
Instructions
Cut the hot dogs
- Cut each hot dog in half, giving you 8 pieces.
Prepare the biscuit dough
- Roll out the biscuit dough and cut it into 8 rectangles. You want each piece of dough to be large enough to drape over one piece of hot dog.
Make the ghosts
- Place one rectangle of biscuit dough over each piece of hot dog. Gently shape the dough around the hot dog so that it resembles a little ghost. Don't worry about making them perfect—the more imperfect, the more character they have!
Add the faces
- Use a straw to gently poke two eyes and one larger opening for the mouth in each ghost. I love using a straw because it makes perfectly round little ghost faces without needing any special tools.
Bake
- Place the ghosts on a baking sheet and bake according to the biscuit dough package instructions, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
