Egg Yogurt Pops Ingredients & Accessories

Greek yogurt: I use organic plain Greek yogurt (no added sugar).

Raw honey: Since my yogurt isn’t sweetened, I add raw honey. If your yogurt is already sweetened, I would leave the honey out.

Fruit: I used finely chopped strawberries, kiwis, and blueberries, but you can use whatever fruits your kids prefer!

Natural dye: I used Ellie’s Best blue spirulina powder and ifiProvisions natural green and red colorant (made from spirulina and beets, respectively. You can use the code HAPPYHOLME to save 10% at Ellie’s Best and the code HEALTHYHOLME to save 15% at ifiProvisions

Storage Tips

I recommend storing the egg yogurt pops in the freezer. When ready to serve, run under water for a couple of minutes to loosen the plastic egg.

FAQs

What is the easiest way to cut the plastic eggs?

It’s easiest if your plastic eggs already have 2 small holes at the bottom. Carefully cut from one hole to the other hole. It’s alright if the cut is wide since the yogurt is thick and won’t melt through.

Why are there holes in my egg yogurt pops?

If the eggs were not completely filled with yogurt, there will be indentations in the egg once it’s frozen.
