Healthy Push Pops – Naturally Sweet, Fruity Frozen Treats

2 Mins read

Looking for a fun and easy summer snack that your kids will love and you’ll feel great about serving? These Healthy Push Pops are the ultimate frozen treat—made with just a few simple ingredients, no dyes, and no refined sugar. They’re creamy, fruity, and freezer-friendly, making them perfect for hot days, after-school snacks, or summer nights.

Healthy Push Pops Ingredients and Accessories

Watermelon & Clementines – Naturally hydrating and full of vitamin C and antioxidants. They add vibrant color and refreshing flavor—no food dye needed!

Greek Yogurt – Adds creaminess, protein, and gut-friendly probiotics. Use full-fat for the creamiest texture.

Banana – Acts as a natural sweetener and makes the pops smooth and rich without the need for added sugar.

Maple Syrup – Optional, but a great way to balance tart fruits. Use as needed for your desired sweetness level.

Push Pop Molds – I found these on Amazon.

Tips for the best healthy Push Pops

  • Taste before freezing – Some fruits are sweeter than others, so adjust the maple syrup to your liking.

  • Use silicone molds or reusable plastic push pop containers – They’re easy to fill and kid-friendly.

  • Add fun mix-ins – Try a few mini chocolate chips, chia seeds, or swirl in a little extra yogurt for a fun design.

  • Label your pops – If you make multiple flavors, use tape or stickers on the outside of the molds to tell them apart.

FAQs

Can I make these dairy-free?
Absolutely! Swap the Greek yogurt for a plant-based yogurt like coconut or almond for a delicious dairy-free option.

How long do they last in the freezer?
These push pops stay fresh in the freezer for up to 1 month—perfect for batch prepping!

Can I use store-bought juice instead of fresh?
Yes, just make sure it’s 100% juice with no added sugar. Blending whole fruit is more nutrient-dense, but juice works in a pinch!
