Shamrock Chocolate Bark Ingredients & Accessories

White chocolate:  I used white chocolate and dyed some of it green with natural colorant. You can use any chocolate, but I love how the ifiProvisions chocolate melts, so that is what I typically use. I have a 15% off discount (HEALTHYHOLME) if you want to try!

Dark Chocolate: I used dark chocolate because I’m a huge dark chocolate fan, but you can use whichever percentage is your favorite!

Toothpick: This is used to drag through the dots to form a shamrock shape

Baking sheet lined with parchment paper: For this recipe I used a half sheet pan. The parchment paper makes sure that the chocolate doesn’t stick to the pan.

Storage Tips

I like to store my Shamrock Chocolate Bark in an air tight container in the fridge or freezer. The bark doesn’t need to be refrigerated though, so you can keep it out for people to enjoy!

If your chocolate is too thick, I recommend adding a 1/2 tsp of coconut oil to thin it out.

My green chocolate got dark chocolate on it, help!

Make sure you’re wiping the toothpick clean after each time you drag the toothpick through. You can use the toothpick to remove the bit of dark chocolate or add a little green chocolate on top to cover it up.

Instructions

  • Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour dark chocolate out on the parchment paper and use a spatula to smooth out evenly, making sure the chocolate isn't too thin.
  • Add 3 dots of green chocolate next to each other. Drag a toothpick through the middle of the center dot. Wipe the toothpick clean, then drag through another dot so that it meets the other line. Wipe the toothpick clean and do the same with the third dot so that it forms a shamrock.
  • Continue adding dots of chocolate and making shamrocks. Once finished, add green sprinkles, if desired, and place in the freezer.
  • After the chocolate has set (about 10 minutes), cut into pieces and enjoy!
