Pretzel Shamrocks

These Chocolate Covered Pretzel Shamrocks are so simple to make!

This is such a quick St. Patrick’s Day dessert to make for a party or to give as a gift. Just add 3 mini pretzels to a lollipop stick, fill with chocolate, freeze, dip in chocolate, and enjoy!

Pretzel Shamrock Ingredients & Accessories

White chocolate:  I used white chocolate and dyed some of it green with natural colorant. You can use any chocolate, but I love how the ifiProvisions chocolate melts, so that is what I typically use. I have a 15% off discount (HEALTHYHOLME) if you want to try!

Pretzels: If you’re paleo or gluten-free, I totally recommend Savor by Suzie grain-free pretzels. That’s what I used here and they are my favorite!

Baking sheet lined with parchment paper: For this recipe I used a half sheet pan. The parchment paper makes sure that the chocolate doesn’t stick to the pan.

Decorating ideas

Right after placing the dipped pretzel on the parchment paper, you can add sprinkles. Another idea is to let the chocolate harden and then drizzle chocolate of another color on top. Here I used natural green sprinkles.

Storage Tips

I like to store these Chocolate Covered Pretzel Shamrocks in an air tight container in the fridge since white chocolate is a softer chocolate. They don’t have to be refrigerated though, so they can sit out on a table during a party (as long as it’s not outside on a hot day).

FAQs

My chocolate is too thick, what can I do?

If your chocolate is too thick, I recommend adding a 1/2 tsp of coconut oil to thin it out.

My pretzels fell off of the lollipop stick. Any tips?

Make sure there is enough chocolate between the lollipop stick and the pretzels. Also, be gentle removing the excess chocolate. I found the best method is to tap the lollipop stick.
