Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Ingredients & Accessories

White chocolate:  I used white chocolate and dyed some of it pink with natural colorant. You can use any chocolate, but I love how the ifiProvisions chocolate melts, so that is what I typically use. I have a 15% off discount (HEALTHYHOLME) if you want to try!

Peanut Butter: I recommend natural peanut butter (no added sugar or oils) that is chilled in your refrigerator.

Pretzels: I make both the small and larger pretzels, but my kids like the smaller ones better. I think it’s because every bite has pretzel and peanut butter. If you’re paleo or gluten-free, I totally recommend Savor by Suzie grain-free pretzels. That’s what I used here and they are my favorite!

Baking sheet lined with parchment paper: For this recipe I used a half sheet pan. The parchment paper makes sure that the chocolate doesn’t stick to the pan.

Decorating ideas

Right after placing the dipped pretzel on the parchment paper, you can add sprinkles. Another idea is to let the chocolate harden and then drizzle chocolate of another color on top. Here I used dark chocolate.

Storage Tips

I like to store these Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Pretzels in an air tight container in the fridge since white chocolate is a softer chocolate. They don’t have to be refrigerated though, so it can sit out on a table during a party (as long as it’s not outside on a hot day).

FAQs

My chocolate is too thick, what can I do?

If your chocolate is too thick, I recommend adding a 1/2 tsp of coconut oil to thin it out.

My peanut butter is falling into the chocolate. Any tips?

Having frozen peanut butter is key, so make sure not to dip the pretzels before the peanut butter has solidified. Also, try to not leave it in the melted chocolate for too long, or it may begin to melt again.
