Sweet Potato Crust Heart Pizzas

These Sweet Potato Crust Heart Pizzas have been our family tradition on Valentine’s Day for the the past 4 years
❤. Hubby and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day, but I really love making special valentine meals for the kiddos!
This pizza crust is our favorite because it’s veggie-filled, full of flavor with only 5 ingredients, and is SO much easier
to make than cauliflower crust!

Sweet Potato Crust Heart Pizza
Ingredients:
❤ 3 cups cooked sweet potato flesh, mashed
❤ 1 1/2 cups almond flour
❤ 2 eggs
❤ 2 tbsp olive oil
❤ 1/2 tsp sea salt
❤ toppings: sauce, cheese, veggies, meat, etc
Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. Mix together the mashed sweet potato flesh, almond flour, eggs, olive oil, and 1/2 tsp sea salt.
  3. Make 2 hearts on each prepared baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
  4. Let the pizzas cool, then carefully flip them. Brush the tops with olive oil, and bake another 10 minutes.
  5. Top the crusts with desired toppings* and bake another 7 minutes, until the cheese begins to melt.
