Sweet Potato Crust Heart Pizzas

These Sweet Potato Crust Heart Pizzas have been our family tradition on Valentine’s Day for the the past 4 years

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked sweet potato flesh, mashed
  •  1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 2 eggs
  •  2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Toppings: 

  • sauce
  • cheese
  • veggies
  • meat

Instructions

  •  Hubby and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day, but I really love making special valentine meals for the kiddos!
  • This pizza crust is our favorite because it’s veggie-filled, full of flavor with only 5 ingredients, and is SO much easierto make than cauliflower crust!
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  • Mix together the mashed sweet potato flesh, almond flour, eggs, olive oil, and 1/2 tsp sea salt.
  • Make 2 hearts on each prepared baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let the pizzas cool, then carefully flip them. Brush the tops with olive oil, and bake another 10 minutes.
  • Top the crusts with desired toppings* and bake another 7 minutes, until the cheese begins to melt.
