You only need 5 ingredients to make these addicting GF/DF Peanut Butter Crunch Candy Bars! They get their crunch from Chex cereal and the peanut butter chocolate combination is unbeatable.

I used my favorite candy bar molds to make these. If you don’t have candy bar molds, you could make the filling in a square pan, freeze, cut into bars and then dip the bars in chocolate. 

GF/DF Peanut Butter Crunch Candy Bars

Crispy peanut butter in a dark chocolate shell creates a delicious candy bar!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 cups rice cereal

Instructions

  • Cover the bottom and sides of the molds. Place in the freezer for 2 minutes. Add a 2nd coat of chocolate to the sides (make sure you can’t see the mold through the chocolate). Place in the freezer.
  • Add the peanut butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup to a microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds and stirtogether. Mix in the cereal.
  • Add the cereal mixture to the molds. Press down to make the cereal level. Freeze for 5 minutes. Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal mixture and freeze for 15 minutes.
  • Gently remove from the freezer. Drizzle on more chocolate and sprinkles, if desired. Enjoy!
