Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips melted
  • 1/2 cup plain whole-milk kefir
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey to taste
  • 3/4 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Natural green food dye optional
  • Optional: mini chocolate chips for folding in

Instructions

How to Make Chocolate Chips:

  • Melt dark chocolate until smooth.
  • Spoon or spread chocolate into small circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Freeze for 5–10 minutes, or until completely set.
  • Peel off parchment and set aside until ready to serve.

How to Make Grasshopper Dip:

  • In a bowl, whisk together kefir, maple syrup (or honey), peppermint extract, vanilla, and sea salt.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  • Add a drop or two of natural green food dye, if using, and fold gently.
  • Stir in mini chocolate chips if desired.
  • Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving.
