- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips melted
- 1/2 cup plain whole-milk kefir
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey to taste
- 3/4 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
- Natural green food dye optional
- Optional: mini chocolate chips for folding in
How to Make Chocolate Chips:
Melt dark chocolate until smooth.
Spoon or spread chocolate into small circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Freeze for 5–10 minutes, or until completely set.
Peel off parchment and set aside until ready to serve.
How to Make Grasshopper Dip:
In a bowl, whisk together kefir, maple syrup (or honey), peppermint extract, vanilla, and sea salt.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
Add a drop or two of natural green food dye, if using, and fold gently.
Stir in mini chocolate chips if desired.
Chill for 20–30 minutes before serving.
