Patriotic Tie-Dye Mousse Jars (High-Protein & Naturally Colored)

These Patriotic Tie-Dye Mousse Jars are a high-protein, naturally colored no-bake dessert made with creamy farmer cheese, kefir, honey, beet powder, and blue spirulina. Perfect for Memorial Day and Fourth of July celebrations!

Ingredients

Base Mousse

  • 2 cups farmer cheese
  • 2 tbsp plain full-fat kefir
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbsp cashew butter

Natural Coloring

  • ½ tsp blue spirulina powder
  • 1 tsp beet powder

Instructions

Make the Mousse Base

  • Blend farmer cheese, kefir, honey, vanilla, and cashew butter until completely smooth.

Divide & Color

  • Divide mixture evenly into 3 bowls.
  • Mix blue spirulina into one bowl until evenly colored.
  • Leave one bowl plain.
  • Mix beet powder into the last bowl.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to thicken. The longer you refrigerate, the thicker the mousse will become, and the more each layer will stay separate.

Assemble Jars

  • In two jars, layer blue mousse, topped with white mousse, and then red mousse.
  • Use a toothpick to swirl the colors.
  • Refrigerate about 2–4 hours until set.
  • If desired, add berries, granola, whipped cream, or any toppings you desire.
