Servings: 10 donuts
For the donuts
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 1/4 cups almond flour
- 4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 serving vanilla protein
For the coating
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a silicone donut pan.
Mix together all of the donut ingredients. Distribute the batter evenly into 10 donut molds. Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Once cooled, remove the donuts from the pan and dip in the cinnamon sugar. If the sugar is not sticking, spray the donuts lightly with coconut oil and then dip in the cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
