French Toast on a Stick

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 8 strawberries, stems removed and sliced
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced into 1/2 inch coins

Other:

  • 4 wooden skewers
  • maple syrup for dipping

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon.
  • Dip the bread in the mixture to coat each side.
  • Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat and cook the bread for 1 1/2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  • Skewer the french toast cubes, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas and serve with maple syrup for dipping.
