French Toast on a Stick
Looking for a patriotic breakfast for the holiday weekend? Try this French Toast on a Stick; it’s the perfect red, white, and blue breakfast!
Servings: 4 people
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 slices of bread
- 8 strawberries, stems removed and sliced
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 2 bananas, sliced into 1/2 inch coins
Other:
- 4 wooden skewers
- maple syrup for dipping
In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon.
Dip the bread in the mixture to coat each side.
Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat and cook the bread for 1 1/2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Skewer the french toast cubes, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas and serve with maple syrup for dipping.
