Servings: 2 milkshakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup kefir or more coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup nut butter I used peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop unflavored collagen
  • 1 tbsp natural yellow colorant
  • 1 tbsp natural orange colorant
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  • Blend together the coconut milk, kefir, honey, nut butter, vanilla, and collagen. Pour into ice cube molds and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  • Process half of the frozen ice cream along with yellow colorant, adding a little almond milk if necessary. You want this to be very thick so that the orange layer stays on top of the yellow layer. Scoop into 2 glasses. Tap the glasses or use a spoon to flatten the layer
  • Process the rest of the frozen ice cream along with orange colorant and almond milk so that it is a little thinner than the yellow layer. Add to the top of the yellow layer in each glass. Smooth it out and then top with whipped cream. Enjoy!
