Can I freeze them?
Absolutely. Once baked, let cool completely, then wrap individually and freeze. Reheat in the oven or toaster oven until warm.

What other fillings can I try?
Try strawberry chia jam, blueberry compote, pumpkin butter, or even chocolate hazelnut spread for a fun twist!

Tips for Perfect Paleo Apple Cinnamon Pop Tarts

  • Roll the dough carefully – almond flour dough is a bit more delicate than wheat dough. Rolling between two sheets of parchment can make it easier to transfer.

  • Don’t overfill – about a tablespoon of filling per tart is perfect to keep the edges from bursting.

  • Seal the edges well – use a fork to crimp tightly so the filling stays inside.

  • Cool slightly before icing – if you’re adding the glaze, wait until the pop tarts are warm but not hot, so it doesn’t melt right off.

  • Make ahead friendly – bake and store in the fridge, then reheat in the toaster oven.
