These Caramel Apple Skewers are a healthier twist on caramel apples made with Medjool dates, peanut butter, apple slices, and dark chocolate. A fun, bite-sized treat for fall!

Ingredients

  • 7 Medjool dates pitted
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter drippy, unsweetened
  • 1 large apple
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate melted
  • 7 toothpicks

Instructions

  • Prep the dates and apples – Gently open each date and take out the pit. Cut the apple into slices the length of the dates.
  • Add the filling – Spread peanut butter inside each date, then place an apple piece in the center.
  • Freeze – Arrange on a baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
  • Slice & skewer – Cut each stuffed date in half, then insert a toothpick into each half to make mini skewers.
  • Dip in chocolate – Dip each skewer into melted dark chocolate
  • Set & enjoy – Place back on parchment paper and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
