FAQs

Q: Can I make these Hamburger Cupcakes ahead of time?
A: Yes! You can prep all the components (cupcakes, brownies, icing, and toppings) a day in advance. Assemble them just before serving to keep everything fresh.

Q: Are these cupcakes gluten-free or paleo?
A: They can be! Use a paleo vanilla cupcake and avocado brownie recipe for a gluten-free, refined sugar-free version. Just be sure your other ingredients (like icing and sprinkles) fit your dietary needs.

Q: What can I use instead of coconut for the lettuce?
A: If you’re avoiding coconut, try thinly sliced green apple or natural green-colored icing to mimic the look of lettuce.

Q: Can I freeze Hamburger Cupcakes?
A: It’s best to freeze the cupcake and brownie parts separately. Assemble the “hamburgers” after thawing to avoid soggy toppings or texture changes.

Q: How do I get the sesame seeds to stick on top?
A: Lightly brush the top “bun” with honey or maple syrup, then sprinkle on the sesame seeds so they stay in place without altering the flavor.
