Refined Sugar Free Cracker Jacks
It is so simple to make cracker jacks at home! This recipe is so versatile and delicious!
Servings: 6 people
- 5 cups plain freshly popped popcorn 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels
- 1/2 cup peanuts (or other nuts) optional
- 2 tbsp grass fed butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
Add butter to a medium saucepan on medium heat, then stir in maple syrup and sugar. Once bubbling, stir in the vanilla, salt, and baking soda.
Add the popcorn nuts (if desired) and mix together with a rubber spatula until completely covered. Let cool completely to get crispy.
